As we were comparing the differences of the United States and Switzerland, I thought this article would be a good way to highlight some of these very drastic inequalities in our own country.
Wow the numbers of inequality in our country are kind of scary huh? As we discussed in class though the right to amass unchecked wealth is a right of every American citizen. The system is legally structured to allow those with the most resources and funds to hoard it. It is an unfortunate downside to the notion of allowing people to pursue a career and accumulate wealth without interference. The question is whether it is possible that we could amend laws to change the distribution of wealth in our country?
